Sara Carty Consultant, Rheumatologist
Dr Carty qualified in Newcastle in 1997 and trained in rheumatology in Nottingham, Manchester, Bath and Cardiff where she completed a PhD looking at biologic therapy in Rheumatoid Arthritis.
Appointed as a Consultant in 2008 in Newport then moved to Swindon in 2015 Her interests include inflammatory arthritis, lung disease in arthritis and can also provide treatment for mechanical and soft tissue conditions e.g. Tennis elbow and trigger finger.
